ManMohan (Mohan) S. Sodhi is a professor in the operations and supply chain management area at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) at City, University of London, and an elected Fellow of the Production and Operations Management Society. His research interests lie primarily in supply chain management, particularly digitalization, risk, and sustainability, alongside a growing interest in healthcare. His research has led to four books and nearly a hundred articles in academic and managerial journals, including POM, Operations Research, Journal of Operations Management, MSOM, HBR, and Sloan Management Review. His citations have earned him a place among the top-cited researchers in the Stanford/Elsevier rankings and SSRN. Two of his papers are among the top 50 most cited papers in POM since the journal’s inception, and he is quoted in the business press regularly.
Mohan received his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi and Ph.D. in management science from the UCLA Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. Subsequently, he taught at the University of Michigan, where the Sloan Foundation funded his research in the trucking industry. Before joining Bayes in 2002, he worked in management consulting at Sabre (American Airlines), Scient, and Accenture.
