Béla Rácz is an assistant professor of Operations Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. He has finished his doctoral studies in 2017 within the domain on Operations Management at the Babeș-Bolyai University. He has worked for several years as a strategic and financial consultant at a local consulting firm, assisting foreign firms to enter the Romanian market. His current research focuses on business digitalization, with a special focus on Industry 4.0 solutions and human resources at manufacturing companies. Besides Industry 4.0, he has previously published research on knowledge transfer within the internal manufacturing network of multinational companies.
